Okazuje się, że prawdopodobną datą premiery Star Wars: The Old Republic stanie się nejpewniej rok 2011 a nie 2010 – jak oczekiwała społeczność fanów powstającego MMORPG.
Na niedawnym spotkaniu z inwestorami CEO dotyczącym nadchodzącego roku fiskalnego, John Riccitiello (prezes EA) zapowiedział, że premiera ich szlagowego MMO jest planowania na wiosnę 2011 roku.
Co prawda Riccitiello nie wypowiedział wprost nazwy gry, jednak Sean Dahlberg – człowiek odpowiedzialny w EA za kontakty z fanami, wyjawił wczoraj na forum gry, iż premiera SW:TOR rzeczywiście została przesunięta na przyszły rok.

While we have not announced a specific date, we can confirm that we are targeting a spring 2011 release for Star Wars™: The Old Republic™.
